The original oyster veneered furniture from the late 17th century has gradually changed over the years.
Our new product will naturally follow the same changes and in the long term will gain the qualities of the
antiques it is based on.

The cutting and preparation of oyster veneer involves a unique method. As a natural part of the ageing process
the veneer settles and the oysters craze slightly. Because we are using modern methods of cabinet making this
does not endanger the integrity of the furniture in any way. Regular waxing will create a lasting patination
which will continually improve.
